Parental Involvement
One goal of Seashore Learning Center is to have all parents involved in some activity of the school’s operation. For this reason it is requested that parents participate in some of the following ways:
- Music and Art
- Physical Education
- Field Trips
- Lunch Duty
- Making Copies
- Helping teachers with in-class needs
- Fundraising
- Facilities Maintenance (painting, landscape, etc.)
- Community Service Initiatives
The Seashore Parent Association was developed with the community in mind. SPA is intended to combine all of our talents and resources to better our children’s education, schools and community.
SPA's Mission is:
- To band our Island Foundation Board, our administrators, our teachers, our parents, our students and our community together.
- To provide and achieve goals both within our classrooms as well as in the community.
What you can expect at a SPA meeting?
- Meet other families & friends
- Get the latest on what is happening on our campuses
- Become a SEA Star leader
- Oh yeah, and perhaps win a door prize!
Parent volunteers are needed to assist with our lunch program and to assist in classroom activities and trips.
